Professional Language Development

LCIBS is not a language school. We're a business school specialising strictly in professional career-oriented business training. However, international students who meet our English language entry requirements find that their language skills continue to improve and develop while studying at LCIBS. This is not just because students at the college are trained in professional business communication (oral and written) and acquire specialist vocabulary in all the subjects they study; it's also because students benefit from being in a professional business environment where English is the language of instruction and of daily communication, and where all staff are willing to help students become better in their use of English. The result is that students learn to think and talk business in an effective and confident manner. The variety of learning activities included on all courses also enables students to improve their general English communication skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) while they're completing their business education and training.
