During your course

While at LCIBS, you'll benefit from a number of aspects of the service and support we provide: 

• Student counselling ~ If you need help on any issue while you're at LCIBS, or if you just need someone who'll listen, you'll always have direct access to the college's management. You may also approach any of your trainers to provide individual help with specific difficulties you may have. If you're trying hard but still struggling, your trainers will willingly provide additional help.
• Manuals, book-borrowing and library facilities ~ You'll be provided with free training manuals, which detail the main principles and concepts for each subject you study. Other training materials will be provided by your trainers in the form of handouts as and when necessary. Where additional reading is required, you'll also be welcome to borrow books that are available at the college. If your needs are more specialised, we'll be able to direct you to appropriate business reference libraries located close to us.
• Computer Facilities ~ A computer room is available for student use during college opening hours providing you with free access to internet facilities. Wireless internet access is also available free of charge throughout the college premises. These facilities are available both in term-time and in the college's vacation periods.
• Careers guidance ~ We are strongly committed to preparing LCIBS students to secure jobs in a tough and competitive job market. All students on our standard diploma programmes receive training in Job Search Strategies & Techniques, and can also approach college staff and trainers for individual careers advice and for help with job applications and interviews. Many students have benefited from our trainers' specialist knowledge of the fields within which the students wish to work. We will also continue to provide these advisory services to you after you have completed your studies here. The total approach that we apply to our training means our students are able to secure jobs rapidly after completing their programmes with us.
