Accreditation

LCIBS is accredited by the British Accreditation Council (BAC), the national accrediting body for independent further and higher education. The award of BAC accreditation means that all aspects of the college’s operation have been inspected by the BAC and have been found to meet the required standards. The areas inspected by the BAC when deciding whether to award accreditation to a college are: teaching, learning and assessment; management, staffing and administration; management of quality; student welfare; and premises and health and safety. Students enrolling on a course at LCIBS can therefore be confident that all aspects of their studies at the college will be of the high standard required by the BAC for accreditation.
LCIBS is also a member of Study UK, the official membership association for BAC accredited colleges. Along with BAC accreditation, Study UK members agree to uphold and abide by the Study UK Members' Code of Practice, which makes requirements of members over and above those of the BAC's quality assurance scheme.
