COMBINED STUDIES MANAGEMENT
DIPLOMAS

Elsewhere on our website you will find details of our Diploma in International Business Management (DIBM), our Diploma in Public Relations & International Marketing Management (DIMM), and our Diploma in International Tourism Management (DITM). These specialist management diploma courses provide a management education to students wishing to focus on just one of our specialist subject areas (Business, PR & Marketing, or Tourism). For many students, such a diploma is the appropriate study package. However, some students need to gain a management education while focusing on two of our specialist subject areas, or even all three specialist subject areas. For such students, we therefore offer our Combined Studies Management Diploma programmes. These programmes provide the same comprehensive management education that is provided on our specialist management diplomas, but also allow students to complete studies in more than one of our specialist subject areas. On completing such diplomas, students therefore have a broader range of career options and enhanced career prospects, and are fully prepared for multi-skilled management positions, either in large corporations or in small firms. These programmes are also particularly popular with students whose ultimate objective is to establish their own business.

Cyril Trubert,
France

"Before LCIBS, I completed a law degree, spent two years working in Africa, one year working in France, and travelled in the Far East and America. My experiences made me realise how many options there could be working for an international company, which is what led me to study on Combined Studies Management Diploma at LCIBS.

I started at the college full-time, but then got a job in London with the luxury brands group, LVMH, making it impossible for me to continue studying full-time. But LVMH were keen for me to finish my studies at LCIBS because the course was going to give me a variety of knowledge and skills. So fortunately I was able to change to part-time study, attending classes at the college a couple of days each week.

I have found the course very useful. At work, I have been able to apply things that I have learnt and have been able to look at problems from a variety of perspectives. Meeting students at LCIBS from other countries has also helped broaden my international outlook, which is important in my job as LVMH values employees who are culturally aware on an international level."
