The 'Subject Exchange' option allows you to change one or more of the usual subjects included on any of our diploma programmes for another subject (or subjects) of more benefit or interest to you. For example, if you wished to complete our Diploma in International Business Management, but felt that you did not need to study Business Law as part of your course (perhaps because you had previously studied law at university), you could take another subject instead (e.g. Sales Promotion & Direct Marketing).
 
'Subject Exchange' is a popular option with students who prefer not to have training in 'Computing Skills' included in their diploma programme. The 'Computing Skills' training covers the use of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint. It is included on all diploma programmes because some students do require this training. However, other students have studied these computing applications previously, or have already become competent in using these applications from previous work experience, so may prefer the 'Computing Skills' training not to be included in their course. By taking advantage of the 'Subject Exchange' facility, such students can therefore opt out of the 'Computing Skills' training and choose another subject instead that will be of more interest and benefit to them.
